V Day Gifts for Polish Lovers

image

I am not the biggest fan of Valentines Day, it’s literally the one day a year anyone who is romantically involved with another person is forced to spend money on said person. Don’t celebrate it if it’s not your cup of tea! I always feel like it’s only one day, what about the other 364 days!!! Especially when you are living with your other half or are married, the way they treat you every day is what really matters!

Either way, if you are fed up of being presented with flowers, teddies or chocolates, why not ask your other half for a polish based gift? I know it sounds a bit cheeky, but for a token gesture it might be a nice idea. Especially if your other half is unsure of what you would like.

Polish based gifts don’t cost the earth, they last a long time in comparison to flowers and choccies and they are something you can keep and wear even when Valentines day is long gone!

If this sounds up your street, I have a selection of polish based gift ideas in this post!

P.S. Even if you are single and celebrating Valentines with your besties, gift your friends these offerings and share the polish love! Of anyone in your life to share your obsession with polish, a friend is just that!

Guerlain My First Polish – As soon as I saw these, I immediately thought Valentines Day. The packaging is gorgeous, I own Guerlain’s La Petite Robe Noire perfume and the polish bottles are like shaped just like it but in pretty polish miniatures. Apparently they leave a distinctive gourmand scent of red berries and petals once you finish your manicure.

This collection is a European exclusive and is priced at £17.00 each. There are 9 shades available and can be purchased exclusively at House of Fraser here.

This polish is a lovely polish to pick up and give your other half without really spending any money. A chunky pink tinged glitter with lots of heart shapes, it’s very girly! Perfect to apply in a Valentine’s Day manicure! At £6.00 each or 2 for £10 here, pick up this shade or select a pretty duo for your loved ones nails this Vday!

If you are really struggling where to direct your other half, try getting them to buy you a gift card or gift voucher. That way they can pick you up something you will definitely like and use! There’s nothing worse than an unwanted gift, especially in polish form!
