With the month practically over it’s that time to delve into my favourite polishes and nail products that have graced my nails and have gained my attention. In fact with 2 months worth of colour favourites, I had a hard time narrowing down all the things I have been loving in recent times, especially with so many Spring and Summer launches! So many new polishes which I loved in my manicures which have made it into today’s favourites!
OPI – Show Us Your Tips was my favourite shade from OPI’s New Orleans Collection and I really love it’s periwinkle shimmer, ever so pretty on the nails! I prefer this shade over Zoya’s Astor, as it’s just that tad darker and blue in tone and much more wearable. The shimmer less in your face. I wore this a few times the last month or so and really love this shade for a everyday bright!
Essie – Taj-Ma-Haul is a new love! My favourite shade from Essie’s Resort 2016 collection. I love its tangy colour, as soon as I saw the shade I was drawn to it’s pretty hue. I don’t wear orange/apricot’s that often, rarely in fact, but this shade is great, and looking at my favourites I’m warming to orange shades. The formula is also excellent in this collection, plus it looks great on my fair skin and nails. One of my current faves!
No7 Stay Perfect nail polish – So Neat – I rediscovered this colour from my stash back in England, brought it back over and waited for the opportunity to shop my stash. I ended up applying it around St Patrick’s Day and received so many compliments on the shade that I kept thinking to myself how on earth did I leave this one at home! I enjoyed wearing the shade, loving that gold shimmer running through it. Beautiful!
Deborah Lippmann – Dirty Little Secret – This shade I adored as soon as I caught a glimpse of it in pictures online. A sheer beige packed with holographic glitters, it’s so wearable for everyday and gives a lovely hint of rainbow flashes when the light hits it! Polishes like this are what I crave, a wearable subtle everyday glitter! I like this fine glitter offering for easier removal and offers maximum holographic glitter effect. Polishes like this are my new obsession and I hope Deborah Lippmann gives us more of these shades in the future as they are divine!
Dior – Lilac, my favourite pink of the season so far! I don’t tend to wear shades like this often, but this blue toned pink is so refreshing, as soon as I saw this polish I knew I had to get this on my digits! It really suits my skintone and brightens up my hands a treat, it also stands the test of time in manicures with Dior’s excellent creme polish formula. You can’t go wrong with this pink!
Ciate – Hopscotch is my go-to orange at the moment. I have really been getting into these orange shades of late and loving these tones in my mani’s and pedi’s. Just such a brightening effect on the nails, making things look that bit sunnier with a warmer shade like these. This particular shade is a deep orange with an almost with a hint of red, in a glossy jelly formula. So squishy on the nails. Delicious!
