Like everything on the blog, The Nail Buff Lust List – January 2016 Edition is continuing the theme of budget and drugstore nail polish variety. Now into January, where money is of a less plentiful supply, I’ve really tried to curb my polish lusting. All the ranges featured in this post are kinder to the purse, either drugstore/budget options but with beautiful colours in lust worthy polishes or collections!
I am really enjoying trying all the budget options this month, so the majority of this Lust List feature brands I am getting to grips with.
After trying some of Catrice’s polishes, I got a feel for their line and really enjoyed their nail products.
After doing a bit of research, I noted they had some upcoming makeup collection releases, including new polish lines. These limited collections are only available for a limited time, if you do want to pick anything up. However I have also noticed their Rough Luxury Christmas and Treasure Trove collections are still available in some pharmacies even after Christmas, which both have really pretty shades.
Another collection, the Graphic Grace Spring Collection is hitting the drugstores/pharmacies at the end of January, a collection of bold brights if you want to check them out too. They also have some new additional polish shades added to their main collections. So many choices from Catrice, if you are after a really purse friendly polish.
Another brand which I keep coming across in the drugstore is IsaDora, a brand I have only discovered since living in Ireland. Their Riviera Spring Collection of cosmetics is something I spotted online and I will pick up at the beginning of February, when it’s available in pharmacies. Their Velvet Matt nails look so chic!
Also their Holographic nail polishes from Nails Special Effects Christmas collection also look beautiful. I will do my best to try and pick these up if they are still available.
Has anyone tried IsaDora nail products?
Barry M have had a rash of new products out recently, I have an upcoming post discussing the new additions to their range. However one range which is becoming available next week (20th January) is their Nail Care range. The thoughts FINALLY sprang to mind when I first heard about it. It’s about time!
The range has four products, which come in boxed packaging and retail for around £3.99 each, so €5 over here.
The first two nail items are nail strengtheners, the first – Super Mani 7-in-1 Treatment, an all in one treatment.
The second Iron Mani Ultimate Nail Hardener, a supercharged hardener.
The final two are the Mani Mask Camouflage Colour and Condition products, which comes in a nude toned blush and light pink shades. A CC nail product on a budget!
This collection I will definitely pick up! I would love to see the results Barry M bring to the budget nail care table.
If you want a more salon brand polish splurge this month, the China Glaze House of Colour collection is a really beautiful vibrant collection. With such bright shades for the dull days we are having currently having, there will be shade for you!
For me, China Glaze are up there for formula and quality, and are around the same prices per polish as some of the drugstore ranges.
The China Glaze House of Colour Collection retails at £4.95 each available now at Nail Polish Direct. Definitely worth checking out!
I will do a post going into my favourite picks from China Glaze House of Colour collection later on in the month.
If you are in need of some budget nail polish inspiration, I hoped this post helped you!
I appreciate that not everyone wants to be spending money in January, but worst comes to worse you could shop your stash for similar picks, to get the look. I am all for shopping my stash!
