Current Deborah Lippmann Polish Loves

image

In recent times I have been exploring my higher end polish options, seeing what is on offer and noted that of any brand that is really ticking the boxes personally, Deborah Lippmann is genuinely where it’s at!

I only have to pop into Selfridges or click onto Cult Beauty to appreciate the lovely polishes this wonderful lady is bringing to the polish table.

After last seasons’s A/W 15 Roar collection, I thought to myself how is she going to up her game and take it to the next level? I genuinely loved that collection, such a wonderful capsule wardrobe of polish shades.

That was until I saw the Afternoon Delight Spring Collection in her wonderful Gel Lab Pro formula, grabby hands all the way! I had seen pictures online and thought to myself I must check this collection out in person. My desire for this collection was sealed when I watched one of her shows on QVC the other day. Seeing those live swatches, I knew these shades had to be mine!

With shades like The Pleasure Principle – a lovely lilac, Peaches & Cream – a peachy cream, Get Lucky – a dusky blue cream and my favourite and Dirty Little Secret – a holographic greige, this quartet of polishes had to make it into my collection.

Another really fantastic colour collection she recently bestowed to us are the Sweets for my Sweet Collection, a gorgeous collection of pastels which are perfect Easter shades! Give me this polish collection over an egg anytime! As a chocolate lover, I love me some chocolate Easter eggs! But I would have this collection over an egg any day of the week! I must have a word with the Easter Bunny!

The collection consists of the 6 mini polishes, perfect for travel or a nice polish taster if you don’t tend to wear these kinds of shades too often.

This collection has all manner of white based pastel hues, Sugar Sugar– a light pastel peach, Lemon Drop – a light pastel yellow, Sweet Pea – a pretty light pastel green, My Boy Lollypop – a pale pastel blue, All Day Sucker – a pale pastel lilac and finally Candy Girl – a pale pastel pink.

Looking to the summer months, Lady Lippmann has you covered with the lovely Life’s a Beach polish duo, ideal for your mani’s and pedi’s when the sun decides to come out. This duo really do work well together (see image below!) or seperately, that bright blue and pink combo will definitely bode well with a tan and brighten up those hands.

The Tide Is High – a gorgeous aquatic blue crème really draws in the eye, my favourite summer blue shade and Break 4 Love – a bubblegum pink crème. Wow, I can definitely see these in my manicures poolside.

I can safely say, hand on heart, with these polish beauties on my mind I have plenty of higher end polish splurges to be getting on with. I say this, my Lust List for April is practically brimming with options! But with Deborah Lippmann’s excellent polish formulas, these lovelies are high on my to buy list and worth the splurge!

What are your favourite Deborah Lippmann polish releases currently? Any of the polishes in the post you are lusting after? Have you tried any of these new polish collections?
