Hey folks! I am back on the polish launch bandwagon with more launches from one of my favourite budget brands – Barry M!
I love popping to Barry M stands when I am out and about, checking out what’s new and they have recently launched some lovely polish picks just in time for Summer. I always look forward to their seasonal polish drops which don’t disappoint, this Summer 16 drop includes a nice mix of polish finishes depending on what you are after. For me it’s any excuse to update my nails for the coming season!
The first launch is their Coconut Infusions range which has been out around a month or so. I featured this launch in my Budget Polish Picks for SS16 post in case you missed it!
This is a great range of pretty polishes, infused with Coconut Water & Coconut Oil – a potent polish formula which leaves a lovely pristine gel look finish. Cannot complain with these polishes with both formula and finish these have you covered and you cannot go wrong! Especially for the £4.99 price, it’s a steal!
I hope they extend the shade range of this formula at some point or combine it with their Sunset Daylight Curing Gel Polish formula to give the care, colour and performance in one!
Another launch I am thinking of adding into my stash PDQ is the Lolly Gloss Nail Paints range. These polishes look perfect for nail art, layering over other shades to darken them, perfect for jelly sandwiches or even applying like a nail gloss polish in your mani.
Shades include Cherry Drop (deep pink toned red), Orange Fizz (orange), Pink Candy (bright pink) and Purple Pop (deep purple) all your colours to add an extra pop to your nails.
These polishes remind me of some of the warmer toned OPI Colour Paints, at a fraction of the price. The purple shade Purple Pop also reminds me of Chanel’s Sunrise Trip polish from the L.A. Sunrise Spring Collection, an absolute steal to nail the look.
The Lolly Gloss Nail Paints are priced at only £3.99 (currently available at Superdrug) such a relative bargain especially in comparison to the OPI Colour Paints. I would definately pick these up if you are into nail art!
Another launch I love is their Molten Metals Collection, a quartet of metallic shades perfect to add into your stash! I don’t recall Barry M releasing any metallic shades in the past, just foils, duochromes and multi chrome shades. I love metallic shades so it’s handy to finally have these affordable options from Barry M.
This collection pretty much has all your bold metal shades covered with Gold Digger – gold, Copper Mine – copper, Bronze Bae – bronze and Silver Lining – silver.
I will definately pick up some of these, with Bronze Bae being the shade I would go for as I don’t own too many bronze tones in my stash. So pretty for the price at only £3.99 each (currently available from Superdrug) it would be silly not to!
The last 2 launches are Barry M’s Limited Edition polish exclusives to Boots and Superdrug, both offering 2 unique shades each into their ranges. I’ve picked up a few polishes here and there from their limited edition polish shades over the years, some can be quite unique too.
Superdrug’s limited edition shades are Carnival Couture – a light latte with gold shimmer and Festival Fever – pretty pink with gold shimmer.
Boots limited edition shades are Golden Sands – a shimmering sand with gold shimmer and Beachy Keen – a toffee toned tan shade (all pictured above.)
I really like all of these, in particular Beachy Keen (this reminds me of Tom Ford’s Mink Brulee shade – such a great dupe for the price!) along with Festival Fever, such a pretty pink with the gold shimmer. These polishes I will definately be picking up!
These are available from the 11th of May onwards from both Boots & Superdrug respectively, priced at £3.99, if you would like to pick up any of the shades!
With such lovely polishes to pick up from Barry M, I know where I am heading to this weekend – my nearest Barry M display! I am always amazed at the formula of Barry M for the price point, it’s really excellent polish and value!
If you would like to pick up any of the polishes featured in this post, please check your nearest Barry M counter for shades. The Lolly Gloss Nail Paints & Molten Metal Nail Paint Polishes are exclusively available at Superdrug stores and online currently, becoming available at other Barry M stockists from the 11th May 2016.
